Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak is finally joining the cryptocurrency bandwagon, joining crypto startup Equi Capital.

Wozniak revealed his intentions in an interview with NullTX while attending the recent  ChainXchange blockchain conference  in Las Vegas. There had been rumours for some time that his entry into the crypto world was imminent.

Technology expert Steve Wozniak played a key role in developing IT giant Apple.

“It’s my first time being involved in a blockchain company. [It’s] called Equi. Our approach is not like a new currency, or something phony where an event will make it go up in value. It’s a share of stock, in a company,” Wozniak stated.

As reported in Cryptovest, the technology guru and Apple pioneer did not reveal what role he will play within the investment-focused crypto startup. He indicated, however, that Equi may register in Malta as early as November.
