Binance launches academy in bid to become thought leader
Crypto exchange Binance has launched an academy to further blockchain education.
A new open-access platform, known as Binance Academy, will “democratize” education about blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
Thought leader
It will provide educational material on blockchain and cryptocurrencies as part of efforts to position Binance as a thought leader in the field.
Binance Academy will operate from the domain www.binance.vision.
The content posted on the site will be a mixture of videos and articles, with Binance encouraging users to suggest topics to be covered.

Binance has moved its offices to Malta to escape regulatory crackdowns in Asia
Fragmented
Binance said the crypto and blockchain knowledge base currently available on the internet tended to be fragmented.
“The most elementary building block of revolution, after all, is knowledge. Given global reach and inherent advanced nature of users we have attained through the Binance ecosystem, we have the responsibility of propagating blockchain and crypto knowledge to the rest of the world,” said Changpeng Zhao, chief executive of Binance.
Office moves
One of the world’s largest crypto exchanges, Binance was founded in China, but moved its servers and headquarters to Japan last year to escape a regulatory crackdown.
In 2018, Binance subsequently moved again, this time to Malta, amid regulatory tightening in Japan.
