The common issue every crypto user has been facing is sometimes an enormous difficulty to spend cryptocurrency in real life, for everyday goods and services. One startup, located in Sydney, might have resolved the issue by introducing one of the first crypto debit cards, available for use in any business or ATM in Australia. According to the creators at BTC.com.au, there’s no fee to sign up, and there’s no fee to load it.

Additionally, once crypto funds are added to the card, they are available for use immediately, which brings a sigh of relief to those who are tired of waiting. There’s a reasonable monthly maintenance fee of $4.99, however, it’s refunded to customers who load $500 or more over the course of one month, in order to incentivize the regular usage.

According to Danny Ariti, CEO of BTC.com.au, creation of the card was inspired by the goal to speed up massive adoption of crypto, introducing a fast and easy method to use it for those who might not have come across cryptocurrencies as of yet.
