Cryptocurrency now accepted for hosting services
According to BitLaunch’s official announcement released on January 14th, cryptocurrency users are now able to make crypto payments for the virtual private network (VPN) cloud services by using BitLaunch’s newly updated platform.
BitLaunch allows their users to pay for cloud services using ten different types of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ripple, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dash. Some of the cloud and VPN hosting platforms the service works with are DigitalOcean, Vultr and Linode.
For users to pay for these services with cryptocurrency, they must have a BitLaunch account; however, it also means that the users don’t need to create individual accounts for every VPN hosting and cloud service, including the ones mentioned above, which provides them with an anonymity advantage – something that cryptocurrency users are initially looking for, or prefer.
VPNs have become important in today’s digital world because these networks protect your connection by encrypting it to ensure that your private and possibly sensitive data isn’t susceptible to hackers. Additionally, VPNs are also used for marketing purposes because the user can change their geographical location, which can then allow the user to view different types of advertisements from their competitors.
According to BitLaunch, some of the benefits to switch to crypto payments for a hosting provider is an increased security and privacy. Additionally, using crypto payments for the hosting will provide the most secure way to run a VPN or any other privacy-conscious service, for that matter.
