DeVere Crypto, the cryptocurrency exchange, announced on Thursday it had added support for ethereum classic and zcash due to client demand.

Users of deVere Group’s crypto app, launched earlier this year, can now trade nine cryptocurrencies on the exchange: alongside the two new additions, users can trade bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, ripple, dash, monero and bitcoin cash.
Strong demand
Nigel Green, chief executive of deVere Group, said there had been strong demand among existing and potential investors for the two new tokens and that the exchange was committed to expanding its suite of digital coins.
“Clients are increasingly demanding a truly diversified crypto portfolio as the sector grows and moves ever more into mainstream finance,” Green said.
He added: “Cryptocurrencies, as an asset class, are not going away. It is a burgeoning sector and is playing a larger and larger role within the global financial system.”
Positive reception
Last week the exchange announced it had signed up more than 15,000 clients since the application was launched in February.
“We’re delighted with the strong and overwhelmingly positive reception it has received from clients and industry professionals alike,” said Green.
