Makers of multi-cryptocurrency ATMs, Lamassu launched its latest models of over-the-counter terminals. There is a growing trend in the number of ATM available, according to Coin ATM Radar which shows 3,759 bitcoin and other cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide.

Some estimates project cryptomats to grow $16.3m in 2018 to $144.5m by 2023, at a CAGR of 54.7% during the forecast period.

Lamussu is a pioneer in cryptomats and this latest family of models was designed with a first-time user in mind writes Zach Harvey co-founder of the company.

Harvey describes an easier interface and physical design to guide a user and to avoid confusion for first time users. ATMs are very useful for traders eliminating the need “to trade” as they are able to buy bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies using fiat and send to a wallet or sell cryptocurrencoes from the ATM and withdraw fiat money.

Lamussu machines offer support for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Zcash, Bitcoin Cash, Dash and Litecoin. The latest version of cryptomats are models in the Sintra family retailing between €5,200 and €8,900.
