Market data provider offers free cryptocurrency API available for unlimited requests
BlockMarkets has announced a service, which allows free, unlimited cryptocurrency API requests both by investors and developers. The new service was built by former Wall Street employees; a place where making trades as fast as possible is not a foreign concept.
BlockMarkets’ new free service is allowing to make unlimited requests for API usage, which is open for both crypto investors, as well as other companies and developers to use for making trades and accessing the cryptocurrency market data, all for free and in real-time.
The offered API basically plays a role of an online “middle man,” providing a real-time connection, created when one software application connects with another software application. The API then allows the user to connect with a broker, access pricing data and make trades in real time, along with other capabilities.
While BlockMarkets offers unlimited API requests for free, there is also a paid version of the plan which comes with more advanced access, a commercial use license and email support. The paid version of the service is geared towards professional users and startup companies looking for access to more technology, such as tick data or live order books.
According to Jason Inzer, co-founder of BlockMarkets, with providing a free API available for unlimited requests they’re committed to “building a vibrant community of users,” making an input into a further development of the whole industry.
