On December 29th, Litecoin will influence the minds of millions of viewers through its partnership with The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). This headline event will not only feature the Jon Jones vs. Alexander Gustafsson fight, but present Litecoin as the official cryptocurrency partner of UFC 232.

According to the media reports, this partnership is allegedly amongst a multitude of collaborations that were expected to roll out this year. However, this deal beats the odds and, as the firm stated,

“This is a milestone for Litecoin and cryptocurrency, in general, as no other coin has sponsored a UFC event to date.”

Litecoin revealed what factors motivated the joint venture. The firm stated,

“Over the last 25 years, UFC … has evolved from a tiny grassroots movement to a global phenomenon, largely based on the extremely passionate community… We see many parallels to Litecoin in this way as our amazing community has been instrumental in our growth and providing unwavering passion and enthusiasm that continues to propel us forward.”

As a part of the presentation, Litecoin’s logo will be placed around the infamous octagon of the UFC logo to symbolize the partnership.
