Bitcoin Cash (BCH) continues to attract headlines as the community remains split over the inclusion of Craig Wright in the coin’s future vision.

As Cryptovest reports, rumours have surfaced that Roger Ver, seen as the most prominent thought leader in the Bitcoin Cash community, is prepared to side with Wright on the future direction of BCH.

Wright has been vocal in advocating a more conservative development for BCH. However, the development and decisions about the Bitcoin Cash network are still firmly in the hands of Bitcoin ABC, while Wright is vocal in expressing opinions and presenting different solutions.

BCH price has not been unduly affected by the speculation and rumour – so far.

The chief concern of the Bitcoin Cash network is scaling. BCH launched at a time when Bitcoin had extremely high transaction costs and network overload.

A recent proposition for scaling has been made, involving sharding to compute blocks faster in a form of parallel processing. The solution was suggested by Bitcoin ABC member Shammah Chancellor.

At the same time there is debate as to whether the Bitcoin Cash network would split and have a new asset created and led by Wright. In the event of a Craig Wright fork, the crypto community may see the new coin as a low-quality asset.

So far the BCH price has not been unduly affected by the speculation and rumour and has tended to move with the market trend.
